Brett Belda is the Senior Vice President of Business Development at Catalyst Strategic Advisors, where he focuses on identifying new business opportunities and building client relationships within the waste and environmental services sector. Leveraging his deep industry experience, Brett is dedicated to guiding business owners through the complex and emotional exit process, helping them capture maximum value for their companies. His commitment to this role enables Catalyst to deliver exceptional client experiences and strengthens the firm’s expertise in waste and environmental services.

With over 10 years of consultative sales and leadership experience in the two-wheeled collection cart and technology sectors, Brett is a top professional in the environmental industry. Before joining Catalyst, he was Vice President at Schaefer Plastics North America, where he drove substantial growth in sales and brand recognition by forging valuable partnerships and successfully negotiating some of the industry’s largest contracts.

Brett holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He is a recipient of the Waste 360 40 Under 40 Award and holds the NWRA FILA Leadership Certificate. Brett also serves on the NWRA Supplier Board of Governors, co-chairs the NWRA Membership Committee, and participates in the EREF Auction Committee.

Brett resides in Cincinnati, Ohio, with his wife, Brittany, their sons, Brody and Huy, and their pug, Gus. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and staying active through various forms of exercise.
