Josh Mosko is Senior Vice President of Business Development at Catalyst Strategic Advisors, where he leads efforts in specialty rental, identifies growth opportunities, and cultivates strategic partnerships across the equipment and energy rental sectors. He is passionate about helping companies accelerate value creation and scale with purpose, leveraging strategic M&A, operational insights, and deep industry relationships to unlock growth. Josh plays a key role in advancing Catalyst’s mission to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients navigating complex growth and transition strategies.
With over 25 years of experience in the equipment rental, OEM, and dealer space for power generation, HVAC and specialty services industries, Josh brings a seasoned operator’s perspective to his advisory work. Prior to joining Catalyst, he served as Vice President of Business Development at CES Power Inc., where he played a pivotal role in launching new divisions and executing multiple strategic acquisitions across North America and internationally. He also held leadership roles at Herc Rentals, Red-D-Arc, and United Rentals, and was instrumental in scaling a mobility software company within the industry, ultimately leading to its successful acquisition by a private equity group.
Josh holds a bachelor’s degree from Bryant University and a master’s degree from Albertus Magnus College. Based in Connecticut, he enjoys sports, paddleboarding, hiking, yoga, and spending time with his family.
