Strategic hire deepens firm’s capabilities in high-demand specialty rental markets.
Colorado Springs, CO – 6/24/25 – Catalyst Strategic Advisors is pleased to announce that Josh Mosko has joined the firm as Senior Vice President of Business Development. In this role, Josh will build on Catalyst’s presence in the specialty rental and services market, with an emphasis on power generation, temperature control and pump solutions.
Josh brings more than 20 years of experience across the equipment sector, including roles at major rental strategics, leading OEMs, and a private equity-backed power generation platform.
At United Rentals, Josh helped launch and scale the company’s specialty rental divisions for pump, power, and HVAC. He later served as Global Head of Energy Services at Herc Rentals, overseeing strategy and growth across key markets. Most recently, Josh served as Vice President of Business Development at CES Power where he led 15 acquisitions globally to help shape CES into a leading power rental platform.
Combining operating experience with M&A execution, Josh brings a unique perspective to Catalyst’s work in the specialty rental and services sector. He’s built strong relationships with leading independent operators and understands the dynamics of growth from both sides of the table.
